We were delighted to be asked to produce the design and build of the event space for the ISTAT aviation industry conference in Edinburgh’s EICC.

With delegates arriving in Scotland from around the world, this event is a showcase for its host city as much as for the industry members in attendance.

Our brief was to fit out the welcome space in the Strathblane and produce ‘Deal Zones’ for delegates to meet and do business. We also created directional signage and the obligatory COVID-safe stations throughout the venue. 

Our client ISTAT was a dream to work for. Against the backdrop of tough trading for the aviation history and uncertainty as to the feasibility of the event going ahead, we appreciated the additional anxiety that delivering this event, in a city far from the clients base in the US, would cause.

Our production team built an excellent and close working relationship based on regular and frank communication to make sure that every issue was tackled and every opportunity taken.

We did not take this event for granted and we never do. Whether new to us or part of our regular programme, we treat each exhibition build as a fresh start and work hard, using our proprietary project management toolkit Buffalo to ensure we leave no stone unturned to deliver a quality event.

The event was a great success and those attending felt great pleasure to be back meeting in person again. The EICC is also a fabulous venue and it is a great joy working in the space with the production team.
