We were delighted when approached by VEV Services Limited to develop a design proposal for their stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2023.

As the organiser of NetZero Scotland, we are very engaged with the low carbon sector. So the opportunity to work with a client, bringing a new product to the electrified fleet market, was a project to relish.

VEV Services are experts in designing and delivering scaled enterprise fleet solutions. They offer to help firms optimise their vehicle fleet, charging and operations to make the most of the transition, backed by deep experience delivering scaled turnkey charging solutions.

As a new firm in the market, this exhibition would be a first opportunity to introduce the brand to the market. They, therefore, were looking for a pavilion that would promote the brand as well as their services vividly, dynamically and energetically.

Our proposal was to design a structure that would provide the practical elements; reception, comfortable seating, AV presentations and on stand catering, beneath a striking and high quality brand banner.

Our design team wanted to embed the name of the company into the DNA of the stand. To achieve this, the structural uprights which would normally be square pillars, were engineered into a V shape; a practical structure to hold aloft the VEV logo while providing an elegant tapering design form, drawing the eye down into the body of the stand.

The minimalist black branding of the brand was complemented with softer elements; comfortable furnishing, planting, and the smooth shape of the cross beams leading to an apex at the aperture of the stand.

And subtle lighting was used to accent the structure, the feature AV area and the welcome desk.

I was delighted with the stand proposal from Rocket Exhibitions. From conceptual drawings to actual stand build, the team from Rocket were incredibly responsive and highly organised. The feedback from both Commercial Vehicle show delegates and the VEV team was very positive in regards to both the aesthetics and functionality of our exhibition space.
